Library celebrates Lawrence Tech authors Feb. 16

To acknowledge the contributions to scholarship of the faculty and staff, the Lawrence Tech Library will host the second annual “Celebrate LTU Authors” reception on Thursday, February 16, at 11 a.m. in the Library Garden area. Over the last year, the librarians have been compiling a list of articles, conference proceedings, and books published by our faculty and staff during 2011. These publications reflect the dedication and diversity of interests, talent, and expertise of our LTU community. From poetry and philosophy to waste management and tissue engineering, our faculty have made significant contributions to an ever-expanding body of knowledge. The library has identified approximately 60 authors with 82 publications listed for 2011. The list includes some students who have co-published with a faculty member.
