IEEE Xplore offers a wealth of resources

Access to IEEE Xplore (IEEE-IET Electronic Library) is again available through the Lawrence Tech Library home page. This collection is an excellent source of highly regarded content in many fields including electrical engineering, computer science, biometrics, mechatronics, and information technology.

You can link to IEEE Xplore through Databases by Subject, category – Engineering on the library home page. For assistance in making the best use of the powerful search features, please contact a Lawrence Tech librarian at ext. 3000 or refdesk@ltu.edu. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Unlimited, full-text PDF access to three million documents from over 1.6 million authors.
  • Highly-cited, peer-reviewed research that fuels more new patents than any other publisher, including:
          — 151 IEEE journals, magazines and transactions.
          — 25 IET journals and magazines, plus 20-plus IET conference titles.
          — Proceedings from over 1,000 IEEE and IET annual conferences.
  • More than 2,100 approved and published IEEE standards in key technology fields.
  • Complimentary access to more than 3,100 papers from 20-plus conference titles of the German engineering society, VDE VERLAG.
