Making a mess for a good cause
Wednesday, April 27th, 2011
Chi Omega Rho & Sigma Pi teamed up once again to host their annual Pie in the Face event that helps benefit the Relay for Life Foundation. We were so excited for the event because it’s a fun time for both organizations to come together to not only raise money for a good cause but also put our philanthropist skills to work. This event was organized by Sarah Lowrey of Chi Omega Rho and Demetrius Johnson of Sigma Pi. We would like to thank Professor Will Allen, Dorrie Frontera, Melissa Grunow, Scott Trudeau and Leslie Willson for being great sports and allowing the students to throw pies at them. We would also like to thank Liz Caplan, Kelsie Foster, Katelyn Fortin, Kevin Gatto, Nate Walley and Zach Wheeler for also taking the abuse. From their willingness to be pied, we were able to raise $192.50. You all were awesome and we cannot wait until next year. – Sarah Lowrey and Demetrius C. Johnson
