Hockey team hosts Northwood on Dec. 10

(Photo by Merissa Ferguson) The Blue Devils had two tough loses against Adrian and University of Michigan-Flint to bring their record to 7-6 going into the Thanksgiving break. Mike Smartt and Matt Boogaard both scored for the Blue Devils in both games. The final scores were 7-2 against UofM-Flint and 6-2 against Adrian. Lawrence Tech Hockey takes on Northwood at home at the Southfield Sports Arena Friday, Dec. 10, at 8:30 p.m. This is the holiday faculty and staff appreciation game. Admittance is free for everyone with a Lawrence Tech faculty and staff identification. After the game everyone in attendance is invited to skate to holiday music on the ice with the Blue Devils and Santa Claus. This skate is free to all in attendance! This is the final game of the fall semester and the last chance to watch some exciting Blue Devil hockey prior to exam week and holiday break.
