Ali was nominated for this award by Dan Faoro, interim chair of the Department of Architecture, who wrote of her, “Ali works incessantly to meet the broad demands of her position. She can be found answering emails at 9 p.m. and keeping meetings, appointments, conference calls and other emergencies when needed. Her dedication and commitment to the tasks issued by the University is rare and should inspire others. She even kept up on correspondence during her recent surgery and recovery period. She is a worthy candidate for recognition.” The Staff Council recognizes full- and part-time Lawrence Tech staff each month for their outstanding contributions to the University. Nominees exhibit professionalism, dedication, and integrity in the workplace and excel in the performance of their work duties. Nominations are accepted at any time from any Lawrence Tech constituent (staff, faculty, or student) through the Staff Senate website .
