Volunteer Fair is Sept. 29

The Lawrence Tech Leadership Programs office is hosting the Lawrence Tech Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Buell Management Building atrium. Students can learn about great volunteer opportunities and also win prizes if they stop by the tables of all participating organizations. Community Organizations include Affirmations, Almost Home Animal Rescue, Beyond Basics, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys Hope Girls Hope, Circle K, Forgotten Harvest, Greening of Detroit, HAVEN, Hospice Advantage, LTU Leadership Programs and First Year Experience, LTU Save Green With BLUE, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Odyssey Hospice, Operation Homefront, Society of University Leaders (SOUL), Southfield Parks and Garden Club, United Way for Southeastern Michigan, and Young Detroit Builders.
