Baja SAE team shows signs of promise

 Lawrence Tech’s Blue Devil Racing team competed at the Baja SAE Carolina competition in April. Lawrence Tech’s Baja SAE team finished in the top ten in two categories, but ended up in the middle of the pack at the SAE regional competition hosted by Clemson University near Greenville, S.C., in early April. Lawrence Tech finished seventh out of a field of 104 teams in pulling and in suspension and traction. But accidents on the course led to a low score in the endurance category, and the Blue Devil team ended up in 66th place overall. Â
