We are the Delta Tau Sigma Pledge Class of Fall 2009, and we’d like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. We are thrilled to be pledging DTS, and we’re excited for all of the surprises still to come.

My name is Amanda Sweet and I am a sophomore media communications student.  I’m originally from West Bloomfield, but I grew up here in Southfield.  I love it here at Lawrence Tech and I’m super-involved on campus.  I’m in the Scholars program, I’m the president of SOUL, the Society of University Leaders, an actor and secretary of SODA, the Society of Dramatic Arts, and will soon be a sister of Delta Tau Sigma! I was searching for a long time for a support group and people that I could go to and feel comfortable with; and once I got connected with the Sisters of DTS, I knew I found what I was searching for. 

My name is Jill Ann Koenigsknecht and I’m a new pledge for Delta Tau Sigma. I’m from Farmington and graduated from Farmington High School where I was on the cheer team for four years. I love music, drawing, and having fun with friends. I have two cats and absolutely love animals. I’m studying architecture here at Lawrence Tech and I love it so far. I’m so excited to join DTS because I love all the girls and I’m having so much fun with the sorority already. I can’t wait to become a member!!

Hey, my name is Sasha Farah. This is my first year at LTU and I’m a freshman. I’m majoring in architecture, but I also want to study fashion later because that is what I love. My hometown is Birmingham, but now I live in Bloomfield Hills and visit Birmingham on the weekends. I graduated from Groves High School in Birmingham and loved it there. My hobbies are tennis, volleyball, writing songs, modeling, jet skiing and hanging out with my friends and family. I’m pledging Delta Tau Sigma because after getting to know the girls I loved them and I love to be part of events and just have fun.

Hi, my name is Christina Marie Milne. I’m a freshman here at LTU and I’m majoring in civil engineering. I’m from Garden City and graduated from Garden City High School last year. I ran cross country and track for four years and I also figure skated for nine years. I also enjoy volleyball, hunting, watching movies and driving around with friends. I wanted to join a sorority to become involved on campus and decided to pledge DTS because I love all of the girls and I’m already having so much fun!

Hi, my name is Annie Knoff. I’m a freshman here at LTU, and I’m majoring in imaging. I was born and raised in Midland and attended Herbert Henry Dow High School. I have played soccer and been on a swim team for most of my life. I decided to pledge Delta Tau Sigma after contemplating for a long time. Ultimately, it was the getting to spend time with the girls that made my decision so easy.
